Rhys Pugh

Rhys is the Senior Illustrator in Forge World’s studio. He has been working for Games Workshop for nearly two years and his first introduction to the hobby was working for Codex Pictures during the pre-production stages of the Ultramarines movie back in June 2010.

Since then Rhys has had the pleasure of working on a wide range of publications for Forge World, from Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos to Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition and the newly released Horus Heresy: Betrayal book.
Rhys’ work involves the generation of illustrations, photo manipulations, iconography, profiles and the occasional cover art piece; all of which are created digitally using Photoshop. Rhys also occasionally delves into the world of 3D and Illustrator to create or edit line work and 3D elements when required.

Being relatively new to the hobby, Rhys has yet to collect and create his ultimate Skaven army of Skaven, but has already begun to paint a Dark Angels force.
