How will my order be shipped? And when will my order arrive?
Standard mail orders sent within the UK are shipped by the Royal Mail. Standard mail orders being sent overseas are shipped First Class Airmail. Forge World will always ship your order to you as soon as possible, but if there is any unusual delay due to very busy periods or an item being temporarily out of production, we will always try to let you know, so please provide us with a contact phone number. Orders sent within the UK should normally arrive about 2-3 working days after we have despatched them. Orders being sent to many of the countries in Europe should normally arrive 5-10 working days after we have despatched them. Orders being sent to the USA, Canada and many other countries outside Europe should normally arrive 10-14 working days after we have sent it out to you. If you think your order should have been delivered already we recommend you check with your local postal sorting office to see if it is being held there. As a rule, please allow 28 days from date of order for delivery.
Please note that due to additional customs checks made by the Russian authorities, we are currently encountering significant delays in delivery times to our Russian customers - average shipping time is currently between 1 and 3 months. For more information click here.
Back Orders
We maintain good stock levels of the majority of items within our range, but due to the small production runs of some of these specialist resin models, items can be out of stock from time to time. All orders are shipped in a single delivery which can sometimes result in slight delays.
In 'My Account' you can View Orders placed, and this section will contain a status. 'Acknowledged' means that the order has been received but not yet packed - if this status does not update to 'Fully Shipped' after a single business day it indicates that your order is waiting for something to come into stock. This also applies to pre-order items, for which a shipping date will be advised in our Newsletters and in the item's description in the online store.
