Epic is the game of mass combat set in the nightmare future of the 41st millennium. These are not simply the battles of man against man. Epic battles feature immense armies of infantry, legions of tanks and giant war engines such as the bipedal Titans and super-heavy tanks armed with weapons normally seen on starships.

Because the scale of the conflict is much larger the scale of the models is much smaller. Epic models are 5 times smaller than their Warhammer 40,000 equivalent.

EPIC 40,000 SPACE MARINES
Imperial Space Marines are the most powerful and dreaded of all the human warriors in Warhammer 40,000. They are not human at all but superhuman, having being made superior, in all respects, to a normal man by a harsh regime of genetic modification, psycho-conditioning and rigorous training. Their unswerving loyalty is to the Emperor of Mankind and no other.

EPIC 40,000 DAEMONHUNTERS
Inquisitors of the Ordo Malleus have pledged their every waking hour to the discovery and scourging of the daemonic, wherever it is to be found. But there are times when the scale of a daemonic infestation is such that even the most formidable and righteous Inquisitors need to call upon aid to triumph. Only one force in the breadth of the galaxy has any chance of stemming such a daemonic infestation: the Grey Knights.

EPIC 40,000 CHAOS
From the twisted region of space known as the Eye of Terror, the Chaos Space Marines launch their devastating Black Crusades against the Imperium. Once valiant and pure Space Marines like those that serve mankind, these foolish warriors rebelled and were forever damned after the wars of the Horus Heresy to eternal servitude to the vile gods of Chaos!

EPIC 40,000 ORKS
Orks are the most widespread and warlike race of aliens in the bloodstained galaxy of the 41st millennium. In terms of sheer numbers and planets Orks occupy more of the galaxy than any other single race and were they unified they would soon crush all opposition. EPIC 40,000 ELDAR
The Eldar are an incredibly ancient race, who once ruled a vast empire across the stars. Then came the hideous times of The Fall, when the Eldar were all but consumed by their own decadence and fell from power. Though few in number, the Eldar are one of the most technologically advanced races in the galaxy.

EPIC 40,000 TAU
The Tau believe that now is their time; their race, their empire will bring unity to all. There is no foe their technology cannot overcome, no quandary their science cannot resolve. The very stars themselves will be reforged in the cause of the Greater Good.

EPIC 40,000 IMPERIAL GUARD
The Imperial Guard is the largest and most diverse military organisation that the galaxy has ever seen. Numbering in the billions and equipped with armoured vehicles, artillery and all the other adjuncts of mechanised warfare, the Imperial Guard forms both the hammer and the anvil of the Imperium's might.

EPIC 40,000 IMPERIAL NAVY
All Imperial air forces come under the direct command of the Imperial Navy and not the Imperial Guard. These aircraft are able to provide the ground troops with much appreciated aerial support. Imperial Guard commanders are able to contact Lightning Strike Fighters to sweep in and break up enemy armoured formations, or to have the Marauder Bomber eliminate enemy fortifications.

Titans are the supreme fighting machines of the Imperium. They are giants with skins of adamantium, protected by fields of almost impenetrable energy
