Shadowswords are armed with a Volcano cannon, a huge laser powered by large capacitors which draw power directly from the tank's engine. Commanders of the Destroyer Tank Hunters favour ambush tactics, leaving them well hidden and using their weapons hitting power to snipe and pick off enemy tanks at long range, before withdrawing to a new firing location. When the advanced technology of the Tank Hunters's Laser Destroyer malfunctions, or is damaged in battle the Adeptus Mechanicus often re-gun the the Tank Hunter with a different weapon.
