Forge World at Games Day UK 07
Thank you to all the customers who came to Games Day UK this year and helped make the event such a great success. Quite literally thousands of you came and bought models, chatted to the designers and had a good look at our displays. On show was a fantastic new Siege of Vraks display board, concept sketches, works in progress and the ever popular 40k scale games of Aeronautica Imperialis. The crowds were certainly thick this year, and we`re sorry so many of you had to brave the crush to get what you wanted. We are looking into improving matters for next year!

A number of exciting new projects were previewed at Games Day including the new Shadowsword conversion kit (for the plastic Baneblade), a Nurgle Renegade Preacher, Death Korps of Krieg Engineers, and some preview art from the forthcoming Imperial Armour Volume Six: Siege of Vraks Part 2. There was also our work in progress model of the 40K Imperial Reaver Titan which caused quite a stir, but suffice to say there`s a lot of work to be done on it before we see a production model, so it won’t be out yet! Keep an eye out on future newsletters for more information on these and other new models as they become available.

Order Delays and Royal Mail Industrial Action
Lastly a warning and an apology; currently owing to the exceptional demand for our models we are experiencing some delay it getting orders out as quickly as we would like, for which we are sorry. Unfortunately this problem is going to be further complicated by industrial action being held by the Postal Service in the UK which will take effect from the 4th to the 10th of October and will affect all airmail orders and orders using first class delivery within the UK. Orders made using Express delivery will not be affected as they use a different mail carrier. We can only apologise for any inconvenience this is going to cause and assure you we`ll be doing our best to get your orders out to you as soon as we can.
