Forge World Open Day 2008

 

The 6th of April 2008 saw Forge World lay claim to Warhammer World Forge World for our second ever Open Day. The Forge World Open Day is an annual free event that allows members of the public to meet and chat with the Forge World design team, take part in Forge World themed games and competitions, purchase models from ours sales stand as well as get a sneak peak at the latest upcoming projects and our huge display boards.

This years open day was a great success with the sell out raffle raising nearly £700 for Children in Need! Adam Huxley was the lucky winner and was presented with his Mars Pattern Warhound Titan by Tony Cottrell, Steve Morris and Owen Branham.

The Forge World Painting Competition

The Forge World painting competition saw a number of great models entered. After much deliberation Edward Leech's Saim-Hann Waveserpent was selected as the winner of Forge World's Open Day painting competition.

The sales stand proved popular throughout the day.

Titans clash as the Imperium desperatly try to hold the line against the attacking Eldar in the huge Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse game.

The Seige of Vracks depicted on this huge display board.

The Orks fight to control the skies against the Imperial Navy in the Warhammer 40,000 scale game of Aeronautica Imperialis.
